Chris discusses a new story from the Jesuit’s America Magazine, where the order reveals a recent letter by which Pope Francis “encourages Jesuit Father James Martin in his L.G.B.T. ministry.”  In this episode, we discuss the unorthodox views of James Martin, along with the long history of support for the politics of the homosexual movement, that dates back to the 1960’s and 70s.  We discuss the Jesuit priest, John McNeill who is often called a “prophet” by the gay community, because of his pioneering work that helped to begin the process of normalizing homosexuality in the churches and American society.  While the Vatican is often portrayed as being “old fashioned” in its ideas of morality, is the role of Rome in advancing the breakdown of moral values in the West underestimated?

Chris discusses recent comments from listeners about the present day authority of Jesus Christ.  Contention arose over the use of the phrase, “Christ not man is King,” the words said to be inscribed on the tomb of Oliver Cromwell, the Lord Protector of England.  Within this same line of thinking, the early American colonists were said to declare: “No king but King Jesus!” Yet one of our listeners argued that Jesus is not currently King of kings, and that He will achieve this status later on.  Is that the case?  We examine the Scriptures from both Old Testament and New, showing how the eternal, unchanging nature of Christ proclaims His authority from ancient times.  Also discussed are updates on the progress of the new Noise of Thunder Radio website -- coming soon!  We thank those who have offered insights into some of the design ideas for your comments -- it really helps us make decisions going forward.

But if a Nuremberg Trial took place today, from what perspective would it happen? From the perspective of Christianity and the Bible, which has influenced Western Civilization for more than a thousand years? Or would such trials on issues like “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” be carried out from the viewpoint of left wing liberalism. Incredibly, there are those on both the left and right who (even today) are calling for a modern version of Nuremberg. Also discussed is the view of General George Patton in the aftermath of World War II.

Chris discusses the ongoing attacks against the nation of Israel by the Palestinian Muslim movement.  We discuss the history of the rebirth of the nation of Israel, and the Palestinian movement that has opposed it from the beginning.  Bible prophecy foretold that one day the Jewish people would return to their ancient homeland, and that the city of Jerusalem would be a “cup of trembling” during the last days.  Is the fulfillment of this prophecy what we are witnessing today?  Now we are witnessing a nationwide movement across America that seems to favor the Palestinian cause over that of Israel, but what is the Islamic interest really after?  We are reminded that former PLO leader, Yasser Arafat once declared, “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel …”

Chris discusses the current gas crisis across the East Coast as it is reported that a Russian criminal computer-hacking group known as “DarkSide” is now responsible for sabotaging the Colonial Pipeline system that provides fuel for states stretching from Texas to New Jersey.  It might be interesting to note that four of the states affected were recently listed among the “top five” most free states in the union — states that people are fleeing to in order to escape left-wing policies.  The impact on gasoline also serves the interests of radical environmentalists who have wanted to get rid of fossil fuels for years.  Could this be just a coincidence?  Also discussed is the testimony of  more then “120 retired flag officers” who have called upon Americans to “save America” and to hold those currently in office accountable for their actions.   The statement from these high ranking generals and admirals says that our country is “in a fight for our survival” against the supporters of Marxism.

Chris discusses the many stories of Chinese spies that are said to have infiltrated the United States government and intelligence community for more than 35 years now.  How many of these stories are real?  We discuss the official record of at least thirty convicted spies that worked for Communist China inside the U.S.  Also discussed is the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics in February 2022.  We are reminded that Hitler’s Germany hosted the Olympics at Berlin in 1936 just before the outbreak of World War II.  Some believe that the Nazis used the Olympics as a ruse and prelude to the war, to encourage the nations to let down their guard.  Could history be repeating itself with China? Or are these merely rumors of war? Mainstream media has reported various warnings about war between the U.S. and China for the past few months.  A recent article from The Nation asks: Are the U.S. and China Stumbling into War? We discuss the possibilities.
