OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD...AGAIN?

The whole world is aware that President Barack Obama has reported the death of Osama bin Laden, on May 1st 2011.  Bin Laden is said to be the man responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. 

But now, within hours of reporting to America and the world that bin Laden has been killed, the news quickly emerged that the most famous criminal in the world was suddenly “buried at sea.”  No autopsy.  No examination of his body to make sure it was really him.  Just a quick burial before anyone could ask too many questions.  The swiftness of all this reminds us of the mysterious death of Pope John Paul I in 1978, who was also buried quickly and without an autopsy.

“ABC New White House Correspondent Jake Tapper reported at around half past 3am that a US Official had confirmed that Osama Bin Laden’s body had been buried at sea at approximately 2am.  Previous reports had indicated that Bin Laden’s body would be ‘handled in accordance with Islamic practice and tradition.’

“At 2:31am EST CNN.com reported that an unnamed U.S. Official had stated that the U.S. had used ‘facial imaging and other methods’ to identify Bin Laden’s body.  CNN also reported that a National Security Official would not confirm if the U.S. had performed DNA testing.”

While CNN and the rest of the mainstream are using “Islamic tradition” as the reason for bin Laden’s quick burial, such care was not at all an issue after the death of Saddam Hussein and his two sons.  Saddam’s sons were killed and their dead bodies shown openly lying on tables.  When Saddam was executed by hanging, a video of the execution was carefully leaked to the Internet to show that the former Iraqi dictator was dead.  But now, with bin Laden there seems to be no concern about proving that U.S. forces did, in fact, “get him.” 

You Only Live Twice

What is worth remembering, however, is that Bin Laden was reported to be dead by major news sources 8 years ago, by natural causes.  Fox News reported that:

“Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.” (Fox News, “Report: Bin Laden Already Dead,” December 26, 2001)

Then, seven months later, the New York Times reported that: “Osama bin Laden is dead. The news first came from sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan almost six months ago: the fugitive died in December and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan.” (New York Times, “The Death of Bin Ladenism,” by Amir Taheri, July 2002)

Meanwhile, Gordon Duff (Vietnam Veteran and editor of VeteransToday.com) claims that when he contacted friends in Pakistan years ago, he was informed that bin Laden was already dead.  Needless to say, Duff is among many who are skeptical of President Obama’s seemingly joyful news.

Are the reports that Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S. special forces in a dramatic gunfight true?  Or could it be the script for an upcoming film?  The conspiracy community is already buzzing with varied possibilities.

There is no question that the “timing” of bin Laden’s death is curious, just a few days after the White House published Obama’s birth certificate, and a few weeks after he made his bid for re-election in 2012.  Skeptics had no sooner begun calling the birth certificate a forgery, than President Obama is rocketed into heroic status.  Within hours of announcing bin Laden’s death, a Congressman was on hand to declare that “Obama had accomplished what Bush could only dream of.”  Then Geraldo Rivera just happened to interview a Canadian fellow who said, “Many Americans are worried about where people are born, but it’s more important where they die.”  In other words, “Don’t worry about Obama’s birth certificate – just be thankful that bin Laden is dead.”

The date of bin Laden’s reported death is also interesting: May 1st – a date that coincides with May 1st 1776, the day Adam Weishaupt founded the Bavarian Illuminati.  Just a coincidence?  May 1st (May Day) is also a well known Communist holiday, and day of various occult celebrations. 

It should be interesting to see how all this information unfolds in the days and months ahead.  The conspiracy community will undoubtedly issue warnings about the impending New World Order; but for us as Christians let us resist the fears and anxieties of the world, and instead, remember the promise of God:

“The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear
Him, and delivereth them.” (Psalm 34:7)
