We have received a number of emails and questions about my involvement in the Future Congress, which was put together by Tom Horn and David Hitt. Before the conference took place, there was what appeared to be a “warning” from a website called “Herescope.” While I am not terribly familiar with their position on things, they seem to defend a traditional Biblical view. However, on this issue, I believe they have gone astray. I will attempt to answer some of the primary objections that we have received on the issue.
2012 Prophecy
To get something quickly on the table – none of the teachers at the Future Congress (to my knowledge) believes that “the world will end in Dec. 2012” as has been asserted by some. From what I remember of his book (Apollyon Rising 2012), Tom Horn capitalized on the buzz about 2012 to point people to Bible prophecy and the Gospel. That was why I agreed to write the forward to it.
Genesis 6
The article from “Herescope” is misguided, in my opinion. They are simply against Tom Horn and Chuck Missler because of their interpretation of Genesis 6:2-4 which speaks of how “the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them …” Horn and Missler (along with many others at the Future Congress) believe these passages pertain to fallen angels who joined themselves to mortal women. The offspring of the angels and mortal women were said to be “giants” or in Hebrew, Nephilim. It is generally believed that many of the stories of the Greek and Roman demi-gods (half gods, half men, such as Hercules and Achilles) may have been based on tales of these “giants,” who are said to have been “mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
The Berean Call carries the documentary, “The UFO Conspiracy” that also teaches this view. Dave Hunt gives a cameo interview in it, and we carry it on our Adullam Films website. Generally, this documentary confronts the UFO phenomena, showing that according to the true scientific evidence (not what is shown on the History Channel), aliens and UFOs are identical to the demons of the ancient world. To this, the leading secular experts in the field of UFO-logy agree, even those who are not necessarily Christian.
In contrast, the Herescope writers seem to embrace the “sons of Seth” view, which argues that the “sons of God” who married the “daughters of men” were the righteous sons of Seth who married the wicked daughters of Cain. How these unions produced “giants” (Nephilim) who were physically larger than ordinary men (and in some cases, malformed as in 2 Sam. 21:20) is not adequately explained. The giants are not only mentioned in Genesis but they show up again when the spies of Israel encounter the “sons of Anak” in Numbers 13:33. This seems to be explained in Genesis where it says the giants showed up “also after that” (Gen. 6:4). Repeatedly, we find David and his mighty men battling giants who seemed unnatural and are always depicted as enemies.
If we believe in all the incredible miracles of the Bible, the stories of God parting the Red Sea, of how angels were manifest as men at Sodom and Gomorrah, that the donkey of Balaam spoke to him, and so forth – why should it seem too incredible that angels may have married mortal women? After all, we have the further account in Jude of “the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation” (Jude 1:6), saying that God keeps them in chains until Judgment Day. What else could this mean?
Teachers like Tom Horn, Chuck Missler (and to a lesser extent, Dave Hunt) hold to the view that the alien phenomena is really a demonic deception that will somehow play into the end time scenario. While I find much of the evidence compelling, it is not something I ordinarily teach on.
Enter the Vatican
To me, the most interesting part of the UFO/Alien controversy is the role that the Vatican plays in all this. Rome’s leading scientists are now arguing that, since it is likely that alien life exists, they say, it is illogical to expect that Jesus is the same way of salvation for both humans and extraterrestrials. Father Giuseppe Tanzella-Nitti from the Pontifical University in Rome has said:
“While Christ is the First and the Last Word (the Alpha and the Omega) spoken to humanity, he is not necessarily the only word spoke to the universe…. For, the Word spoken to us does not seem to exclude an equivalent ‘Word’ spoken to aliens.” (Source: Interdisciplinary Encyclopedia of Religion and Science)
Tanzella-Nitti was a professional astronomer who became a Catholic priest, and is now a professor of fundamental theology at the Pontifical University. The word “pontifical” specifically refers to the Pope. In a brochure promoting the University, Tanzella-Nitti says:
“The University is answering the call of the Holy Father by preparing its students for the New Evangelization.”
Considering all this, is it possible that what we are currently witnessing as “the New Evangelization” will be, at some point, governed by the concept of alien life on other planets? The result of which will be the growing insistence that Jesus cannot possibly be the only way. He must just be one way among many. Hence, the Vatican’s plan for a one-world religion is being furthered by the alien phenomena. If one studies Rome and the world of Astronomy, it will be discovered that, today, the Roman Catholic Church contains the leading experts in the field.
One More Thing …
Tom Horn, David Hitt, and a number of others at the Future Congress are personal friends of mine, and I can testify that as I have known them, they impress me as sincere Christian men. From what I could see of the various presentations at the conference in Branson, the presenters seemed to focus mostly on science, technology and the Bible. Some of what I saw were presentations to strengthen people’s faith by showing the working of God through the universe, mathematics, physics, etc., while other presentations seemed to expose how occult powers manipulate the scientific world toward a wicked end. There were many presentations given, and I only watched a few of them. All in all, most of the people
I encountered were Christians who have an interest in science and technology – something that I confess I do not always understand. I do not believe it is what the Lord has called me to teach on, so I stick to my own topics, and seek to exercise grace and charity toward my brethren in Christ.

Chris, I had my concerns as I clicked on some of the resoures links and found Tom Horn. While you describe him as christian, he seems to quote from other "books" of inspiration equal with the bible. Am I right in this assumption? Sometimes credibility is the part we have to question.
Hey Robin,
I have never known Tom to consider any book of equal inspiration with the Bible. Do you have a specific reference? Based on the conversations I've had with him in the past, I would be very surprised to learn that he believed such a thing.
Tom did a series called "They" and he referred to the book of Enoch and some other scripts. Frankly the whole alien topic disturbs me past the point of Genesis 6. I have listened to Carl Tiechrib about the same subject even into tranhumanism, which is a little odd to me also, but Carl sticks strictly to scripture. Hopefully I am wrong because as I said in my first comment, credibility, yours, is my greatest concern. I read Tom's article on NewsWithviews.com.
Unrelated: you mentioned the JFK assassination on your radio show sometime back. Do you have any info on it?

Hey Robin, I may be able to chime in with some research subjects concerning JFK. Have you ever heard of E. Howard Hunt ?
His son Saint John Hunt (saint is part of his legal name, not a position he holds) recently came out with a book+dvd & did radio shows.
Also i recommend looking into united flight 553, an easy start is 'the corbett report episode#152' which deals in detail with this story, note skip 16 minutes in past the news updates.

I underscore all this by saying this is secular history, from non-institutional secular researchers. Use your own discernment, and may our Lord Jesus guide you into all truth, concerning the past, and what's to come..
Thanks Daniel, I think e Howard hunt just died didn't he? And his son I saw him on Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy show. I actually own the JFK DVD you refer to. If you pull all the threads, looks like a black op, however I recall Chris mentioning a catholic connection to the assination. Whatever we've been told, I don't think it's true. And looking at Oliver stone's view, well who knows where he is coming from. Thanks for the info Daniel. Our hope is surely in God!

It is always good to consider other view points on certain subjects, even if you don't end up agreeing with those view points. Also, it is very likely that this issue and the issue of demonic activity and UFOs are completely separate subjects. For example, Dave Hunt promotes the "The UFO Conspiracy," yet if you go to the Berean Call website and search "Who were the Nephalim?" you will see that he does not connect the "sons of God" with demons. Just something to consider. God bless you.

Really enjoying the current shows on the reformers.
Over the past few years I have been coming more and more around to the reformed view.
Did you know Faith Of The Founding Fathers 5 DVD set was in Walmart? My eyes popped when I saw it, I grabbed it immediately. There was only one on the shelf.
Anyway, I loved the films. Amazing stuff, you must have put hundreds of hours of research into them.

You might want to check those DVDs you purchased. Chris's video is called "the HIDDEN Faith of the Founding Fathers". You will find that they are the antithesis of one another.
I am sorry, it was Secret Mysteries of America - The Untold History I purchased.

I've been enjoying your DVD's for years and listening to you now every day for weeks on my I-Pod while I'm at work outside. Yes it's a blessing to be working and listening to your show at the same time, lol.
Anyways my message is concerning Eric Jon Phelps and I hope I'm not the 1001 person to ask you this question about him. I've been listening to some of his messages as well and I feel that he's right on with the names and situations that took place in history but now I've got questions about his own person regarding him dealing with the diamond trade with his wife.
But the worse part has to do with his "new agey" company that I found on an "anti-Phelps website" that says,
"Phelps website, lowvehm.com, also pushes what most would consider various kooky "New Age" health products, ranging from magnets to magical energy water, hyperbolic pressure chambers, orgone accelerators, and other strange things, such as "healthful, beautiful, inspiring music." His ad for these "high energy" products seem to be similar to bogus alternative health claims made by rabbis on a number of Jewish cabalistic websites."
I noticed that you don't have his book in your catalogue "Vatican Assassins". Is he authentic and a real man of God who's doing the work of Christ ? Is Vatican Assassins real or is it reeeeally far out there and pushing the envelope as truly being crazy. What are your thoughts and opinion on this book?

Dear Brethren,
I too have heard hours and hours from PID radio (I don't like the title for what it means first of all "Peering Into Darkness") and have heard Tom Horn many times on it and liked his teaching and learned from him about the Dominionism theology and bought and read his newest book Forbidden Gates and painted a piece of art because of it as an artist from a project we were working on at the arts council where I live.
But I bought a second book "Apollyon Risiing" without researching it out first and found out from my wife who found a web page that critiqued the book and I was disappointed that this person was right and Tom was wrong. The first 2 chapters is right on and goes along with your video about the truth of your USA Founding Fathers that were not sold out real born again believers.

Hi Chris.
I've been listening to both Tom Horn and Chuck Missler, and find their ideas very interesting. ...And I've never heard either of them claim that The Book of Enoch has the same standing as Scripture --- just that Peter appears to reference Enoch's writing, and that The Book of Enoch is an interesting piece of ancient literature which might help explain a couple of events in Scripture. And that's all.

I've just taken a glance at it, and now he's attacking you on it --- it seems that you didn't leap to condemn Chuck Missler with enough alacrity for his liking.
I didn't bother reading much of it: it's not a good sign that he can't even spell the headline of his article correctly ("Wiley" tactics..?).
Who is this guy, and what's his beef with Chuck Missler, Calvary Chapel & you?

First I would like to say that I am just an 'ordinary' Christian , but I have been very concerned about the teachings of Chuck Missler and Tom Horn - especially as they have such influence in the Christian community. It seems to me their beliefs stray into science fiction re- Nephilim, Quantum Physics and Bible Numerolgy. It's precisely because they are so well respected among other Teachers/Preachers such as yourself that makes their [often speculative] teachings 'acceptable'. But we are living in very deceptive times as we all know. My bottom line when in doubt is - 'Did the Lord Jesus and the Apostles teach this?' I have written a couple of posts on my Blog re- Bible Numerolgy and The Book of Enoch.
