R.C. Sproul on The Infallibility of the Bible
An excellent teaching by Dr. Sproul on the subject of "Infallibility & Inerrancy" where the Bible is concerned, showing how the word "infallible" signifies that God's Word cannot fail. Sproul also confronts the position of many modern critics, who argue that the Bible is inerrant in matters of faith and practice, but not necessarily in matters of history and science. Yet Jesus said, "If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?" (John 3:12) In other words, if we cannot trust Jesus in matters of history and science, how could we possibly trust Him concerning salvation? We HIGHLY recommend this teaching from Dr. Sproul, which will help to equip those who wish to defend the authority of the Scriptures.

The irony here is that R.C. Sproul pushes the ESV, which is based on the corrupt manuscripts and not the Textus Receptus! So clearly the Authorized King James Bible wasn't infallible or inerrant ENOUGH for him. Perhaps the Bible he considers finally perfect is the ESV Reformation Study Bible, which he himself edited.
