Dr. Ian Paisley Dies Aged 88
THE TELEGRAPH
Dr Ian Paisley, the firebrand Irish unionist and former First Minister, has died aged 88, his family has said.
The death of Dr Paisley, who founded and led the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), led to tributes from all political divides including once sworn enemies who would later describe him as a “friend”.
Three former British Prime Ministers joined David Cameron and leaders across Irish politics to praise a man who went from a staunch opponent of the peace process to a key instrument of it.

Chris just wanted you to know that I first heard of brother Paisley a couple of years ago when you played a clip of him speaking at Bob Jones university since then I've listened to over 200+ sermons of Ian preaching God's truth. Fundamentalism vs. Apostasy is the one that the Lord used to draw me into His fold. Now I'm working on bringing a Free Presbyterian church to Iowa and answering God's call to preach. Thank you for standing for the truth and for introducing me to the fire brand protestant preacher of Ulster.
Sincerely
