Chris discusses the account of the sons of Sceva from the Book of Acts of the Apostles, and its significance to believers today.  The sons of Sceva were would-be exorcists who attempted to cast out a demon using the name of Jesus, but the situation backfired, and they were savagely attacked.  What is the difference between the sons of Sceva and the sons of God?  Also discussed are several comments from listeners about recent programs.

Thank you for your comments, Chris. I certainly think God can use anyone and that even Satan himself is an unwilling servant of God who will ultimately fulfill God's purposes. If I thought what you believe about Trump were true, I might almost agree with you, but for his character. I, and many others believe it is lip service on his part. He does not exemplify the character of a man who seems that he would fulfill such promises. He has represented both sides of many issues. CP, (not my favorite publication) has even dared to come out and make a statement on this. I think a man like Carson comes a lot closer to exemplifying Christian character than Trump. Like Darlene, I fear we will get who we deserve. God's Word says judgement begins in the house of the Lord, and . .... If my people pray 2:chron 7. That is the only solution. Not a savior in the White house. It begins and ends with turning our hearts back to God as a nation.

Appreciate your program, Chris. If all these other pundits are telling us what we want to hear, don't you think Trump could be doing the same? He's no dummy. He is completely reversed himself on every issue from what he use to believe, I've heard his comments. He was for Obama Care, even a single payer system. He likes Planned Parenthood today as he says they do great work!! He's delusional!! He was even for partial birth abortion. How could you condone that and have any moral integrity??? He was for the illegals and even hires them to do his work. He thought Hillary was a great Secretary of State and was doing a great job. He's apparently not backing Israel and has the same mind set that a peace agreement can be worked out with the Palestinians. I have a prediction. . . . Hillary will be our next president!!!

You are right on about Satan not bothering to attack the unsaved, and does not know them by name, but I also think this goes both ways. If a believer's name is blotted out of the Book of Life due to continued willful disobedience (Rev. 3: 1-5), God no longer knows that person, thus God says "I never knew you". The Jews say if a person departs from righteous behavior, that person has forgotten God, and God returns the favor..
