Chris discusses Romans chapter thirteen in light of events happening in our world today. This particular chapter has been used in times past to convince Christians that they should obey government in nearly every circumstance, even if the government is given to wicked and lawless behavior. The classic example is what happened in Nazi Germany during the twentieth century, and how churches were compelled to cooperate with Hitler, in spite of the injustices carried out. Yet this same issue was present with early American colonists during the years just prior to the War for Independence, and a famous sermon by Jonathan Mayhew on "Romans 13 and Submission to Higher Powers" clarified that the responsibility of Christians was to government that operated as the "minister of God," as the Scriptures declare. From this sermon is said to have come the phrase, "Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to God."

Great show, Chris! Infowars and others have been reporting on the Facebook censorship for some time now...
I recall a conversation with a couple. We were discussing a political issue (I forget which one). We were all in agreement and the girlfriend said, "Yeah, but we have to be able to defend it without using God." My reply was I think that's precisely the problem, we keep trying to make arguments without acknowledging the authority of God, just like the humanists want. The boyfriend hadn't considered that before and thought it was a good point.
This nation, and the nations of Europe (Especially Western Europe including the UK) have become increasing sinful, thus leading to corrupt governments...
As you have stated in several of your video's Christian, there were those founding father's who led double lives... Touting Christian values while involving themselves in secret societies, and practicing abominable sins behind the scenes... These were people in power, and sadly this has only increased over time...
Scripture points out that the mystery of lawlessness would permeate our world as we near the end of this age before our Savior's return from heaven above... This will of course lead to many worshiping the man of sin, or the one who Abaddon, the king of the bottomless pit, who is also known as the beast of Daniel, and Revelation...
All things begin in the spiritual realm, and this of course affects our physical world... Who we are is basically defined by our inmost being of course... Our Savior Jesus Christ declared that we would be hated by ALL nations for HIS NAME SAKE... And that there would be MANY false prophets during these times we live in...
We must remember that Jesus also declared that "HIS kingdom is not of this world" while being questioned by Pilate... We as individual believers must be of the same mindset... While we are in the world, we are not of the world... While we preach the gospel, and live the life in a sin filled world as God would want us to, we must follow in the footsteps of our Messiah... HE did not seek to overthrow the Roman Empire while in the flesh simply because it had been prophesied (and HE is the WORD of GOD) that this kingdom would exist for the pre-appointed time... Jesus came to die for our sins, and to teach us that our focus should be on our Spiritual lives... NOT the flesh...
If we live in good times, or in physically trying times, we will always have spiritual freedom through our REDEEMER... That is where our focus should lie, simply because our fight is not against flesh, and blood... But the spiritual principalities that represent darkness who have been allowed by our Creator to have dominion over this world for a time of our FATHER's choosing...
We have spiritual freedom, and that is true liberty... We must make sure we are fighting the good fight... The right fight... The spiritual fight... Remembering that God will take care of the rest as HE always has, and will... If we concern ourselves with the physical aspects of life to the point of our focus no longer being upon what, and who is truly controlling all that exists in the flesh, we will perish for the wrong reason...
We must live for the right reason, and remember that until our Savior's triumphant return, all things must be fulfilled... It will grow darkest before the dawning of HIS return, and the establishment of God's kingdom on this earth for a thousand year period...
