There are those who teach that 2 Chronicles 7:14 only applies to ancient Israel, but is not a Scriptural promise that Christians in America can claim for our country today. But is this the case? Are God’s promises partitioned or divided? Or are all the promises yes and amen? (2 Corinthians 1:20). Today, we discuss a variety of Scriptures on the subject, examining according to the teachings of the New Testament how the Apostle Paul taught the Church to comprehend the promises of God.
