NOTR - Remembering The Gunpowder Plot - 11.8.17

Today's Show: REMEMBERING THE GUNPOWDER PLOT - 11.8.2017

Chris discusses the 412th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, remembering when Guy Fawkes, the most notorious criminal in British history, planted dozens of barrels of gunpowder beneath the houses of Parliament with the intent of blowing up King James I and the Protestant government of England.  While modern historians have revised the history, the original accounts show that the Jesuit Order was at the very heart of the plot, which is remembered in poetic form even to this day.

NOTR - The Gunpowder Plot Of The 21st Century - 6.1.17

Today's Show: THE GUNPOWDER PLOT OF THE 21ST CENTURY - 6.1.2017

Chris discusses the original gunpowder plot of 1605 and compares it to what is happening in the entire Western world today.  In 1605, the Jesuit puppet Guy Fawkes placed many barrels of gunpowder beneath the Houses of Parliament with the intent of destroying King James I and the Protestant government of England.  In modern times, can it be said that subversive powers placing hostile groups in Western countries for the purpose of overthrowing them?  Many researchers have warned about the reported build up of some 50 million Muslims in Western Europe.  Is this a powder keg waiting to explode?  What lessons can be learned from history to help our understanding today?

NOTR - Jesuits, Loyalty & Treason - 8.9.16

Today's Show: JESUITS, LOYALTY & TREASON

Chris discusses more on the history of the Jesuit Order and how they are known for feigning loyalty towards others the most, right before carrying out the worst sort of treason.  According to 19th century historian, J.A. Wylie, when the Jesuits "have some special villainy in hand ... they make the loudest professions of amity and goodwill."  Historic examples include the Babington Plot, the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
